Me and my boyfriend had photos taken of my daughter and ourselves by Avril a few weeks ago and wow ! Not only did she make us feel so comfortable my daughter absolutely loved her and was so comfortable with her straight away ! I would highly recommend Avril. She came to our house and set everything up for a studio set of newborn photos. She was so good with our little girl, very easy to chat to as she took photos and of course the photos are fab and we love them. Avril created a very relaxed experience for our photo shoot in Marley Park. We asked for some natural photos of my daughters confirmation and on her advice went for an evening shoot in Marley as she mentioned we could capture the evening light. We had a lovely time romping around Marley with Avril taking photos whilst chatting away at our ease. The weather was patchy with some nice spells. We were  delighted when we we got the shots to review, they were so many that we liked (unusual for us as we don’t usually like having our photos taken) we had to spend time choosing our favourites . I was delighted to get a booking with Avril when my baby was born and especially so close to Christmas. I had heard awful stories about photographers expecting a sleeping baby, certain temperatures etc. and I was very unsure about the process as I wanted the shoot to be led by my newborn. Avril was patient, very kind to the fact that I was a new mum and that I wasn’t ready when she arrived. Anything I asked for wasn’t an issue and she didn’t push the time. Avril took fantastic shots of our newborn, she’s a truly brilliant & talented photographer. We’re delighted with our precious snapshots of a very special time. We also challenged her to make something ugly (which we wanted in the shots) appear beautiful & she did it perfectly.
