Is it time for natural family portraits? So it is that time of year again, when the tanned sandy toes have to squish back into woolly socks and school shoes.
I for one have had an amazing summer with both work and play. Having spent so much of our year in Dublin, we took to the road with abandon. We got to Clare, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Galway.
It was so nice to head west and take in the beautiful west coast of Ireland and we got the heatwave too!!
Whats new?
To mark everyone returning to school, I am running a number of minisessions in marlay park, Dublin in September. These mini sessions are to be held during golden hour, the hour or 2 before sunset.
This is the best time for outdoor portraits. It is also known as magic hour. The light is warm and low in the sky and is the most flattering for natural family portraits.
Go for a walk this evening and check out the light at this time, it is just gorgeous. Personally I am finding it very distracting every evening.
Below are some images of my own children a couple of years ago that I took in Marlay at golden hour during September. Isn’t golden hour gorgeous?
Details of the mini session
The sessions will be Monday and Wednesday evenings between 5-7pm
They will be 30 mins long,
You will get a gallery of 20+ images and you will be able to choose 10 images to download
Cost 150 Euro
This is ideal for older families looking for natural family portraits
(well those whose bedtime won’t be affected by the time!!).
